Customer Acknowledgment / Assumption of Risk / Installation Agreement

Please read carefully before purchasing or installing Kryon Forged products. Checking the agreement box at checkout means you accept these terms.

1. Acknowledgment of product nature

I understand that Kryon Forged steering wheels and related components are aftermarket performance products. They are not OEM parts and may differ in feel, weight, diameter, materials, and electronics from the factory steering wheel.

2. Assumption of risk

I acknowledge that improper installation, incompatible vehicle modifications, damaged airbag modules, incorrect torque, or failure to follow instructions can cause airbag malfunction, loss of vehicle control, injury, or death. I voluntarily assume all risks associated with purchasing, installing, and using these products.

3. Installation responsibilities

  • I will install the product only according to Kryon Forged instructions and any applicable vehicle manufacturer guidance, or have it installed by a qualified technician.
  • I will transfer the OEM airbag module correctly, verify all connectors, and confirm that airbag and control systems function before driving.
  • I will not modify the product in a way that compromises structure, electrical integrity, or airbag deployment.
  • I am responsible for verifying fitment for my exact year, make, model, and trim before ordering.

4. Custom build lead time

I understand custom-configured wheels are built to order with an estimated lead time of 2–4 weeks before shipping, which may extend due to materials, demand, or photo-approval delays.

5. Legal compliance

I am solely responsible for ensuring that installation and use comply with all applicable federal, state, and local laws and safety regulations in my jurisdiction.

6. Release

To the maximum extent permitted by law, I release and hold harmless Kryon Forged LLC, its owners, employees, and suppliers from claims arising out of installation error, misuse, racing or track use beyond product intent, or failure to follow these acknowledgments — except for claims based on Kryon Forged's gross negligence or willful misconduct where such limitation is not allowed.

7. Agreement

By checking the acknowledgment box at checkout, I confirm that I have read, understood, and agree to this Customer Acknowledgment / Assumption of Risk / Installation Agreement.
